Srinath came from a humble farming family in India and carried the hopes of loved ones who supported studies abroad through an education loan and help from relatives.
A fundraiser created on June 25, 2026, by Sanoj Jangam with Manish Savasani and Sridhar Somisetty as co-organizers has raised £12,394 toward a £14,000 goal through 650 donations.
The funds will help return Srinath's remains to India so family members can perform final rites and say farewell.
