David Connelly Remembered After Passing On June 25 At Age 76 As Family Seeks Burial Beside Spouse Christine
David Connelly, born April 6, 1950, in the Arlington area of Pittsburgh, passed away on June 25 at age 76.
At 19, David joined the Army and later returned home to work in environmental services management at Jefferson Hospital and Uniontown Hospital.
David and spouse Christine raised two children, Erin and Sean, before Christine passed away in 1991 at age 37 after breast cancer.
Family members said David wished to be laid to rest beside Christine at Calvary Cemetery, where a family plot had already been paid for.
A fundraiser organized by Erin Connelly in Pittsburgh, PA, has raised $2,621 of a $10,000 goal through 33 donations to help cover burial and funeral expenses.
Memorial and funeral service details will be announced later by family members.
