John Millward Remembered Through Bench Fundraiser At Squires Organized By Karen Millward In England
John Millward is being remembered through a fundraising effort created on Saturday, 27 June 2026, by Karen Millward to place a bench at Squires in John’s memory.
Karen Millward said they and Marc Crossan plan to complete a tandem skydive with a qualified professional on Friday, 11 September 2026, at Hibaldstow Skydive.
The fundraiser has raised £585 toward a £600 goal through 21 donations, with the aim of creating a lasting place where family and friends can remember John.
Karen shared that John loved Squires and visited often from early teens, making the location a meaningful part of John’s life story.
Any funds raised beyond the bench cost will be shared equally between Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Kidney Care UK, two charities described as close to John’s heart.
Details regarding memorial services will be announced later by family members.
