Mercedes Z. Grande passed away on the evening of June 24, 2026, after a long-term illness, according to a fundraiser created on June 26, 2026.
Marilyn Olivera, a group leader at a childcare facility in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, organized the effort to support Mercedes’ family during this difficult time.
The fundraiser had raised $1,330 toward a $10,000 goal through 21 contributions at the time of the post.
The family hopes to use the funds to bring Mercedes to a home country, hold a two-hour wake, and arrange essential farewell and burial services.
Mercedes leaves behind a devoted spouse and a 7-year-old daughter, along with relatives, friends, and many people whose lives Mercedes touched.
